PostDid respects intellectual-property rights and expects users of the PostDid platform to do the same.
This Copyright & Intellectual Property Policy ("IP Policy") explains how PostDid ("PostDid", "we", "us" or "our") handles complaints concerning copyright, trademarks and other intellectual-property rights.
This IP Policy forms part of and should be read together with the PostDid Terms of Service and Privacy Policy.

1. PostDid Is a Content-Creation ToolPostDid provides technology that allows users to create, process, transform and organise content.
Depending on the feature being used, users may:
• upload photographs and graphics;
• upload logos and brand assets;
• provide text or prompts;
• submit links and URLs;
• import or process material associated with third-party sources;
• generate text using artificial intelligence;
• generate or transform images;
• create branded social-media content; and
• download or export resulting content.
PostDid does not obtain ownership of third-party intellectual property merely because a user submits, links to or processes that material through the Service.
Users are responsible for ensuring that they have the necessary rights, licences, permissions or lawful basis to use material submitted through PostDid.
2. Publicly Available Does Not Mean Free to UseMaterial being publicly accessible on:
• Instagram;
• Facebook;
• TikTok;
• X;
• Pinterest;
• LinkedIn;
• a news website;
• a real-estate website;
• a business website;
• an online store;
• a search engine; or
• any other website
does not necessarily mean that the material is free of copyright or other intellectual-property restrictions.
The ability of PostDid to technically access, display, analyse, import or process material does not constitute permission from the copyright owner.
PostDid does not grant users any licence to third-party material except where PostDid expressly owns or is authorised to license that material.
3. User ResponsibilityBefore uploading, importing, processing, modifying, downloading, publishing or commercially using content through PostDid, users are responsible for determining whether they have sufficient rights to do so.
By submitting material through PostDid, a user represents that they have the rights, permissions or lawful authority required for their intended use.
Users must not use PostDid to knowingly infringe:
• copyright;
• trademark rights;
• moral rights;
• design rights;
• rights of publicity;
• privacy rights;
• confidential information;
• contractual restrictions; or
• any other proprietary right.
4. User-Provided URLsCertain PostDid features may allow users to submit a URL and request that PostDid identify, retrieve, analyse or process material associated with that URL.
The user, not PostDid, selects the URL.
Submitting a URL constitutes an instruction from the user to process the source for the purpose requested by that user.
PostDid does not represent or warrant that:
• material located at the URL is free from copyright;
• the website owner owns every item displayed on the website;
• content may legally be republished;
• attribution alone is sufficient permission;
• use constitutes fair dealing, fair use or another copyright exception; or
• a website's terms permit the user's proposed use.
The user must make those determinations before publishing or commercially exploiting the resulting content.
5. AI-Generated and Transformed ContentPostDid may use artificial-intelligence systems to generate or modify images, text and other content.
AI generation does not guarantee that resulting material is free from third-party intellectual-property rights.
AI Output may unintentionally resemble:
• existing photographs;
• artwork;
• characters;
• logos;
• trade dress;
• advertising;
• writing;
• designs;
• brands; or
• other protected material.
Users must review generated content before publication.
PostDid does not warrant that AI Output is unique, copyrightable or non-infringing.
6. Logos, Trademarks and Brand AssetsPostDid may allow users to upload logos, trademarks, fonts, graphic elements and other brand materials.
By doing so, the user represents that they are authorised to use those assets.
Users must not use PostDid to falsely imply:
• sponsorship;
• endorsement;
• partnership;
• affiliation;
• authorisation; or
• association
with another brand, business, individual or organisation.
PostDid reserves the right to restrict or remove material involving disputed trademarks or impersonation.
7. Copyright ComplaintsIf you reasonably believe material available through PostDid infringes copyright that you own or are authorised to enforce, you may submit a copyright complaint to:

Your notice should include:
1. your full legal name;
2. your company or organisation, if applicable;
3. your email address;
4. sufficient information to identify the copyrighted work;
5. evidence or information reasonably demonstrating your ownership or authority;
6. identification of the material you believe infringes your rights;
7. the PostDid URL, user account, project or other location associated with the disputed material, if known;
8. an explanation of why you believe the use is unauthorised;
9. a statement that the information in your notice is accurate and that you are the rights holder or authorised to act for the rights holder; and
10. your physical or electronic signature.
Providing screenshots, original URLs, registration details, publication dates or other supporting evidence may assist our investigation.
8. Notices From RepresentativesAn agent, lawyer, licensing company or representative may submit a complaint on behalf of a rights holder.
We may request evidence demonstrating the representative's authority to act.
PostDid is not required to disclose private user information to a complainant merely because a complaint has been submitted.
User information will only be disclosed where permitted or required under our Privacy Policy and applicable law.
9. Incomplete or Unsupported NoticesWe may request further information if a complaint:
• does not identify the allegedly infringed material;
• does not identify the allegedly infringing material;
• contains insufficient evidence of authority;
• concerns material that cannot be located;
• appears fraudulent;
• appears materially inaccurate; or
• otherwise lacks enough information for reasonable investigation.
We are not required to take action on an unintelligible, manifestly abusive or materially incomplete notice.
10. What PostDid May Do After Receiving a ComplaintAfter receiving an intellectual-property complaint, PostDid may take any action we reasonably consider appropriate, including:
• investigating the complaint;
• requesting additional information;
• notifying the affected user;
• asking the user for evidence of permission;
• temporarily disabling access to disputed material;
• preventing further processing of specific material;
• removing material;
• restricting a feature;
• preserving relevant records;
• placing restrictions on an account;
• suspending an account; or
• terminating an account.
We may act before completing an investigation where we reasonably consider temporary action necessary to reduce potential harm or legal exposure.
Taking action in response to a complaint does not constitute an admission by PostDid that infringement occurred.
11. User Response and Counter-NoticeWhere appropriate, PostDid may give the affected user an opportunity to respond to an intellectual-property complaint.
The user may be asked to provide:
• identification of the removed or restricted material;
• an explanation of their right to use the material;
• licence documentation;
• written permission;
• proof of ownership;
• evidence supporting an applicable legal exception;
• contact information; and
• a signed statement that the information supplied is accurate.
PostDid may provide relevant portions of the response to the original complainant where reasonably necessary to resolve the dispute and permitted by law.
PostDid is not a court and is not required to finally determine disputed copyright ownership between third parties.
Where competing claims cannot reasonably be resolved, PostDid may keep disputed material disabled until the parties resolve the matter themselves or provide a binding legal determination.
12. Repeat InfringersPostDid does not permit systematic infringement through its Service.
We may maintain records of substantiated intellectual-property complaints associated with accounts.
Accounts associated with repeated infringement may be:
• warned;
• restricted;
• prevented from importing third-party material;
• suspended; or
• permanently terminated.
PostDid may terminate an account immediately in cases involving serious, deliberate or commercially significant infringement.
The number of complaints alone does not necessarily determine whether a person is a repeat infringer. PostDid may consider the credibility, circumstances, seriousness and outcome of each complaint.
13. Repeat or Abusive ClaimantsThe intellectual-property complaint process must not be abused.
A person must not knowingly submit:
• fraudulent ownership claims;
• deliberately inaccurate complaints;
• notices intended primarily to harass another person;
• claims concerning material they do not own or represent;
• materially misleading evidence; or
• repeated complaints already resolved without new information.
PostDid may disregard abusive complaints and may restrict further submissions where reasonably necessary.
Submitting false intellectual-property allegations may also expose the complainant to legal liability.
14. Trademarks and Other Intellectual-Property RightsComplaints regarding trademarks, designs, passing off, rights of publicity or other intellectual-property rights may also be sent to:

Use the subject:

The notice should provide:
• identification of the relevant right;
• the relevant registration number, if applicable;
• proof of ownership or authority;
• identification of the disputed material;
• an explanation of the alleged infringement;
• relevant locations or URLs; and
• your contact information.
PostDid may deal with those complaints using procedures similar to copyright complaints.
15. No Legal Determination by PostDidPostDid's complaint process is intended to reduce misuse of our Service.
PostDid does not act as a judge or tribunal and does not provide legal determinations concerning:
• copyright ownership;
• fair dealing;
• fair use;
• implied licences;
• trademark infringement;
• passing off;
• contractual disputes; or
• competing ownership claims.
Our decision to remove, restore, restrict or retain material is a platform-management decision and does not determine the legal rights of the parties.
16. No Obligation to Monitor EverythingPostDid may use automated systems, technical safeguards and manual review to identify misuse.
However, PostDid does not undertake to proactively review every:
• upload;
• photograph;
• URL;
• source page;
• logo;
• AI generation;
• rendered post; or
• exported item
for possible intellectual-property infringement.
Users remain responsible for the material they choose to submit and publish.
17. United States DMCA NoticesWhere applicable, PostDid may process copyright notices submitted under the United States Digital Millennium Copyright Act ("DMCA"), 17 U.S.C. §512.
A person intending to submit a formal DMCA notification should include all information required by applicable United States law, including:
• identification of the copyrighted work;
• identification and location of the allegedly infringing material;
• the claimant's contact information;
• a good-faith statement concerning the disputed use;
• a statement concerning the accuracy of the notice and the claimant's authority; and
• a physical or electronic signature.
Where applicable, PostDid may process valid counter-notifications in accordance with applicable United States law.
This section does not constitute a representation or warranty that PostDid qualifies for any particular statutory safe harbour or limitation of liability.
If PostDid formally designates a DMCA agent with the United States Copyright Office, the designated agent's details should be published in this section and will supersede the general contact details above for formal DMCA notices.
18. Preservation and Disclosure of InformationPostDid may preserve records associated with an intellectual-property complaint where reasonably necessary to:
• investigate the complaint;
• prevent repeated infringement;
• enforce our Terms;
• establish or defend legal claims;
• respond to lawful legal process; or
• comply with applicable law.
Information may be disclosed where authorised or required by law.
19. User IndemnityUser obligations concerning intellectual-property claims, including applicable indemnification obligations, are governed by the PostDid Terms of Service.
Nothing in this IP Policy limits those obligations.
20. Content Removed From PostDid vs Published ContentRemoving content from PostDid does not automatically remove content that a user has already:
• downloaded;
• exported;
• published;
• emailed;
• shared;
• uploaded to Instagram;
• uploaded to another social platform; or
• distributed through another service.
PostDid does not necessarily have the technical or legal ability to remove material from third-party platforms.
A rights holder may need to contact the user or relevant third-party platform regarding copies published outside PostDid.
21. Cooperation With Authorities and CourtsPostDid may comply with valid:
• court orders;
• subpoenas;
• statutory notices;
• law-enforcement requests; and
• regulatory requirements.
We reserve the right to challenge requests that we reasonably believe are invalid, excessive or unlawful.
22. Changes to This PolicyPostDid may update this IP Policy as our Service, technology or legal obligations evolve.
The current version will identify its effective date.
Material changes may also be communicated through our website, Service or other reasonable means.
